Since a kid I've collected books, mags, comics, and records and still have most of them (thanks mom for the huge basement space in NC). In 1998 I nabbed a 15,000+ piece 70s-era movie poster/lobbycard collection for $2000, kept a few thousand of the best pieces and flipped the rest for $10K+. I used to collect tons of obscure VHS tapes then sold almost all of them when DVDs came out. Now I'm in the process of weeding out DVDs and upgrading to Blu-Rays. If you're in the LA area, you can help me out if you've got $650:

Old coffee-table books about anything as long as the pictures are well done. I have books with nothing but stairs or indoor swimming pools.
Vintage private photography.
Vintage and odd stuff for the kitchen and to decorate the flat.
None of this is serious collecting (as with records), just picking it up when it crosses my way.
Woodworking hand tools

anybody in Japan find a Straight Story OG poster holler!!
