Can't Stop Won't Stop comes out, and soon after reading its bits of reductionist history, grippers worldwide suddenly view the Ghetto Brothers as some sort of "missing link" in the history of rapp music and the value of the original record skyrockets, as handicapped frogs and anemic rich kids suddenly feel like they must own this object in order to somehow tie themselves physically to the mythology of rapp, a desire all the more pathetic when it is revealed that said grippers are distinctly not about schitt.
The silver lining to this story being that the music is cool and that at least some of the original musicians stand to benefit in some way, even if rent cannot be paid in denominations of warm fuzzies and namechecks.
