Yeah, so what. Everyone including Oprah is reading it. No matter- this book is a total skull melter, and beautifully written to boot. Bleak? Hell yes...Oh my god yes. But, gorgeous, and an incredible and unique way of looking at what is almost a normal father and son relationship (if you'd like to discuss that last thought, I would too, so we can do that, but I'll leave it there to entice conversation.)Either way...DON'T TO SLEEP...

I really like Beckett and Pinter. I'm reading Camus's "The Stranger" right now and it's pretty bad. Luckily it's pretty short so I'll be able to start "The Plague" soon.
Think post-apocalyptic western survivalist father & son love story. Just read it. Its 240 pages, and an extremely fast read.
