It's starting in a few days... do we have enough Canadians in here to get a thread going? And Swedes, Finnish, Czech? This dude, Atlanta goalkeeper Kari Lehtonen seems to be one of our biggest hopes.

    The World Championships always gets overshadowed by the Stanley Cup. I think Canada has a decent chance. I don't think Sidney Crosby will be in it. I don't know who's on the Finnish squad, but if Kipper plays for Finland, they could take it all.

    From what I read, Canada's lone exhibition game was a stinker against Finland. But the defence looks good, with a lot of youth from the NHL (Hamhuis, Weber, Commodore, Brewer and Jackman). Allez Canada!

    I saw 20 minutes of the Canada- Finland exhibiton yesterday and Canada wasn't convincing at all. I know that will change though. Maybe a rematch in the cup final? Now where the Swedes at?
