I know, I'm a bit late for this but here's a 360 degree panorama view from our bungalow's parlor:
the big red thing is my latest invention: the "real" bed/sofa that can be used as a bed and sofa at the same time without folding/unfolding. Made out of solid, tropical redwood it only cost me $150 at the local carpenter.
This right here is our dogs' house. It's also a job from the local carpenter. People stood at the side of the road laughing when we drove this to our house strapped to the roof of our car... the doghouse is located directly under our avocado tree
This is our papaya tree
Our Mango tree, already plundered of its fruits, first by us and then it was stripped by flying dogs for the remaining fruits.
Our Banana trees, they produce more fruit than we can possibly eat. Too bad they can't be used for daiquiris... hold on... wait a minute...
papaya! did you try to put some lime juic on the papaya before eating it? delicious. plus, you can use the seed (taste like exotic pepper) for a kr??uterquark.

yeah, of course, never without the lime... although I prefer to pick them before they get fully ripe and make a nice salad with slices of BBQed beef, red onions, chili, lime juice and some leaves of fresh mint... hmmm... niiice!
Never tried the seed, I'll check into that -thanx!

Nice work.
In Africa. With a dog.
someone had left abandoned on the dirt road outside our compound.
They were starved, flearidden and full of worms. You could already see death in their eyes:
After a bit more than 14 months and a healthy diet of exclusively home cooked food ( also cheaper than imported cans) they look like this:
