just started the joe boyd - white bicycles book and wanted to recommend it.and how often do you get to begin a book listening to the tomorrow album while reading about them?there was a good interview with him on npr the other week:http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=9007942

    Every single magazine and newspaper I open has an article about this book. I think the media saturation has kind of soured me on it. Plus there's this gem from his interview with the New Yorker:

    "In the sixties, rock and roll was this whole new room that had been opened, in which white people were playing with African-American traditions, and nobody had really done it before"
