Why I Hate Sealed Albums

Took a trip to OKC yesterday........bought about 50-60 LP's.....score of the day was a sealed copy of the below LP for $0.33.........got it home.....cracked it open.....heat damage like a mofo......unplayable........F*ck SEALED LP'S!!!!

    Every now and then in the '80s and early '90s, I used to see sealed TK albums popping up every now and then...they played surprisingly fine considering they usually had some big rollercoaster warp (that Miami heat is a motherfucker, huh?).

    There is a big difference between flattening a warp and a friggin MELTED LP.....

    Once the grooves are melted together no macheen is gonna help!!

    depends if it's warped or not. heat can fuck up the grooves so much that it sounds like you're frying eggs
