..."Last of the Breed," a collaboration between Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard and Ray Price via Lost Highway, is next to debut, moving 13,000 at No. 64. A trio of debuts, Andrew Bird's "Armchair Apocrypha" (Fat Possum), Juan Luis Guerra y 440's "La Llave de Mi Corazon" (EMI) and El-P's "I'll Sleep When You're Dead" (Def Jux)[/b], landed at No. 76, No. 77 and No. 78 respectively, all selling around 11,000.[/b]
anytime you make your money back. but id say 50k. El-p will do just fine though. lol at 200k!
Yeah. Apparently one of the three remaining Jukies is an exaggerator. Or El-P himself. (smiley face)
I'll still pick this one up.
thanks, 11,00 is more like it
it did sell out at a few local record stores, and at best buy i heard. i'd say those number are still pretty good so far for an indie hip-hop label.
10,750 Trent Reznor obsessives
El-P came in at 11,417 at #78
Hell yeh in this climate? And an indie? Thats excellent.
Absolutely. I see new bands who I think have more buzz barely breaking the 3000 marker.
Also - Dilla' Ruff Draft sold 8,049 around #110
