    Whatever that is I bet DJ Spooky is spinning giving a lecture
    about it for
    doing John Oswald in front of a bunch of white people as we speak.

    I remember seeing an interview with spooky about 10 years ago and he said he knew every sample ever used and where it came from...yeah, right

    Pfft. What would impress me would be clearing of all these samples. Now that would be (an) art. Enter Negativland.

    This is pretty remarkable.

    Normally I would say yes, but for some reason this strikes me as pretentious.

    Normally I would call pretention, but to me all the samples sound sonically uniform, and things start to make sense after a couple listens and strangely it becomes a bit soothing. I'm a bit buzzed though, but I think this is my true assessment.

    it IS john oswald doing himself.

    Is it really John Oswald? If it is then it at least warrants an additional listen.
