I just met one of the hottest girls I have ever met. She wanted me to make her some mixes. She wants me to make some female artists mixes. I have a Rock and Roll Women mix and a Soul Sisters mix done. I am trying to finish a Ladies of Hip Hop mix; but I am stuck.....help me out folks. I need to finish it by tonight, cause I am meeting up with this fine feline tomorrow afternoon.

No?
Alright well, here you go:
Monie Love
Latifah
Isis/LinQue
Shorty No Mas
Rage
Missy
Boss
Yo Yo
Medusa
...just a few off the top of the head. I'm sure this thread will be flooded in a matter of minutes.
Good luck!
Herm
P.S. For bonus points, you should call the mix Bitch Hop.
(I'm joking. Call it The Trim Getta instead.)
Foxy Brown-Il Na Na
Lil Kim- The Jumpoff
Salt n' Pepa-ANYTHING
old TLC-Ain't too Proud to Beg
Fugees-Vocab/stuff off the Score
Mystic-The life
Queen Latifah-Latifah's Had it Up To Here/Ladies First/Latifah's Law (good choices 33rd)
MC Lyte - Ruffneck
Bahamadia-anything off Collage
Digable Planets that features Ladybug Mecca
I am making a G's Up Hoes Down mix also; but I think I'll hold off on that one for a minute and see how things go. Thanks for the suggestions 33rd, Hotsauceand Birdman. I already had a few of those; but there are some good ones I missed.....keep them comin' old and new appreciated......

Sweet Tee (& Jazzy Joyce) 'It's My Beat'
Salt-n-Pepa 'Tramp'
The Real Roxanne (mainly for Hitman Howie Tee's production)
UK -
She Rockers
Cookie Crew
Yeah, Antoinette is ruff. Add "Keep Hushin'" to the list.
the herbaliser feat jean grae - nah'mean nah'm sayin'
one self - cupid smiling the smile
but mabye you should fill it all up with female rap sex jams. My neck, my back, that kind of stuff. Then some trina. Then add some gangsta boo "where them dollas at".
mabye put some M.I.A. on there. Less obvious missy cuts. rah digga "party and bullshit 2001"? Or whatever the track is where shes like "I beat that bitch with a bat".
A couple lil kim tracks off "Hardcore".
thats it i guess. Just some non "old school" suggestions. Might keep things more interesting than a tape of old yoyo shit.
Good luck.
No one even mentioned Lauren Hill. THe girl might already own it since it "transended hip hop".
I said lost ones.
you guys mean shA rock, right? funky 4+1?
isn't SHY rock a dude?
you need that.
the winley daughters.....
don't forget the original female emcee.... blondie.
YEah Sha, it was a tpyo.

L'trimm- grab it, cars with the boom and we can rock the beat
that pre-"salt+pepa" track where they diss the getfresh crew.i think they were called supernatural then.
the lisa lee verse off of "zulu throwdown"
if the girl is breakbeat raer ignorant you could throw in songs that were used in really mainstream cuts like "whatta man",or the "push it" break.
antoinette 'unfinished business'
t love 'when youre older'
tek9 featuring pariss 'seven days'
michie mee
paula perry 'paula's jam'
and l'trimm for sure. if you didnt put l'trimm on than you fucked up
Who in the hell told you that. Do some research.
Debbie Dee and Wanda Dee pre-date Blondie.
Even that Blondie isnt the original female mc.
that being said, because blondie had such a fat fucking hit with "rapture", her wack rap style actually became very influential to non rapping vocalists who wanted to be down. so in a way she was a very influential female emcee. not saying influential to actuall hip hoppers.
it's terrible, but you can't say it isn't true......
