Scooped a NM- looking copy of this for the store, and it has several persistent skips, including two at the beginning of the first track, though I can't see or feel ANYTHING. I know a lot of these pressings were shitty, has anyone else had this same problem with this particular record?Any ideas what to do with it?

yeah, that ain't gonna happen. Got it among hundreds from a some dude's house who wasn't exactly a pleasure to negotiate with in the first place.

But yeah, not really trying to sell a skippy copy either.

Have you tried playing it on another turntable?

I've had poorly pressed records skip because my needle was worn or the tonearm had too much or too little weight, or the anti-skip wasn't set correctly.
