just saw this on the news!!i buy my stupid cat the expensive IAMS stuff and guess what, its on the list!!please go here and check the list:http://www.menufoods.com/recall/

    snap i buy my cats nutro max but the model number i buy isn't on there.

    do you know why they are doing a recall ?

    too much raccoon guts in there or something ?

    too much raccoon guts in there or something ?

    "A federal investigation is focusing on wheat gluten as the likely source of contamination that sparked a recall last Friday of 60 million cans and pouches of the suspect food, said Stephen F. Sundlof, the Food and Drug Administration???s top veterinarian.

    The ingredient, a protein source, is commonly used as filler."

    i would check the nutro max main website just to be safe, its insane how many brands are affected.

    they said on the news that its only WET food thats contaminated.
