I made this observation while walking to the post office today. This dude had this gigantic Black Yukon Denali XXXL with $5000 rims , the frame rattling due to his million dollar sound system, yet does NOT want to be seen? I don't get it.

    I like tinted windows. At least in the back seat -- keep the sun out of the kids' eyes, yo!

    It seems like every town has a different law about it though, so it's not worth always worrying about getting pulled over. I'd much rather have tinted windows than a box in the dunk -- how can people NOT hear rattling over the actual music? I know, because they can't hear at all.

    i used to have them on a black jeep. the back windows came tinted and i thought it looked better to have the fronts match. cost about $100, made the car look much nicer imo.

    pretty much. also, it costs a decent amount to deafen the rattling...and when you think about the fact that you're paying for OTHER people not to hear the rattling that you don't hear...then is it worth it?

    usually no.

    but yes rattling sounds/looks silly

    ps. i like tinted windows but VA's tint law isn't very dark for cars...trucks, wagons, SUVs, and vans can go much darker.

    at state's with liberal suspension, tint laws. (jeally)

    I dunno, on a black on black whip the limo tint can look mean!

    but super heavy tint on your kitted out civic is kinda lame.

    I rock the full tint on my black 4Runner with a tint fade on the windsheild. I've gotten pulled over a few times about it, but been let go with warnings.

    Tinted windows makes me feel thuggish.
