    Perhaps cpeetz could keep his espn fantasy sports bracket for the crowd who wants to put their ducats where their mouths are.

    i watch about 20 hours of college basketball a week too...

    i always do so shitty at these picks. like the more i know the worse i do.

    who you guys got for final four?

    my initial guesses were georgetown, pitt, osu wisc

    then i though the big east is weak and pitt ain't all that.

    so unc duke osu florida.

    osu winning it all.

    i don't know. the west bracket looks the toughest to pick. not sure if kansas really deserves to be a one seed. and ucla is playing like shit now and so is pitt. could be a sleeper in that bracket.

    i don't know. the west bracket looks the toughest to pick. not sure if kansas really deserves to be a one seed.

    er, kansas has won 11 or 12 in a row. won the big 12 reg season outright. won the big 12 tournament. beat florida on a neutral court earlier this season. has fewer losses than florida or unc. and i graduated from kansas.

    of course, they've also lost the last 2 years in round uno. i was there at the palace of auburn hills for it last year...



    in other words, i'm in!

    hey me too! it was pretty incredible, but nothing can top the Northwestern State comeback against Iowa. That was one for the ages.

    Please stop. Your rambling and "call-outs" are completely annoying. You started a bracket thread after this one was set up, yet you act like you were the first to the party, aside from the fact that you're asking people to put $ on it when most of us just want to do this for fun.

    Seriously, blow up your own thread with the sad-faced whining, not one that is about to be on and popping.

    Picking brackets is the least-scientific, most purely chance thing there is related to sports. It's one of the dumbest things to put money on and actually have any expectation of winning. Without fail you hear stories every year about somebody winning big money in a pool by using some bullshit system based on mascots or team colors or things like that. I don't care how knowledgeable about college basketball you are, there's huge surprises every year and the odds of predicting the outcome of so many games and actually doing the best out of a pool of a bunch of people are slim.

    So, you're right, I do pick brackets strictly for fun. Actually investing any kind of money and expecting to win is just foolish, and I frankly don't have the money to spare to piss away on picking brackets right now.
