You know how I love me some modern soul and disco boogie shit. This mix is molten lava.

  • B. Cause mixes are always top notch. Extremely well done. The Federation - bang it mix is hot.

    B. Cause is also one very nice, down to earth guy.

If you like this, you need Night Of The Remix.

  • you're a prince for posting this. will definitely cop next time I place an order.

I think I brought this up in the Announcements thread, but the chorus on "Hyphy (Looking Up To You Remix), has to be one of the more intense musical passages I've heard in a long time.

I wonder what it felt like to hear that come together for the first time.

Yeah, I'm not sure if I ever told Young Earnest how much I like it but, like all of his mixes, I think it's excellent.

Thanks for this. I had no idea you were B Cause
Your remixes of Vans and White Girl are played regularly around the house, dope stuff.

  • Thanks dudes, for giving this one a listen. Really, really appreciate it.

This was an all vinyl mix, so no mp3's were harmed in the creation of this project. I fully encourage the purchase of vinyl from the artists featured above, the benefits of owning the 12"s are well worth the price of admission (acapellas you can't download, no crappy mp3 quality, etc) as well as a way to help keep these indie cats putting out WAX.

I kept wondering "How in the filznilz did he get all these acapellas?!"

Then I remembered you're the Almighty King Of The Yay Area Slappaers.

haha, actually since J's thing is group harmony, he would best crowned "king of the yay area WEEPERS" I would rather like to aspire to the title, "The Shire Of SHERM".

Whoa, even more impressive! The whole thing is really slick and well-executed, and it's one of the most original mixtape concepts I've come across in a minute.

While we're showering you with praise, I've run out your Dap-Kings/Holla Point blend a few times at the bar I spin at and it gets a very good response.

This is the dopest shit ever. I don't endorse lightly either. Hyphy has never been funkier. Perfect blend of the old and new school. Heeells yes. Will cop a real copy, of course.
