    It would've been tight if you explained who dude was and why you posted it, other than being a Mardi Gras participant. I'm assuming you posted it to say something like "Mardi Gras is back," but who could tell?

    Well, opinions are conjecture, and everybody's different. I could post a photo of a porn girl naked with her legs spread with a thread title of "wrong", protesting the injustices of the porn biz, but I don't think everyone would catch my drift.

    I know, posting poignant photos of a fully-feathered member of the Wild Magnolias less than a week past Mardi Gras on a site called Soulstrut is sooooo out of left field.

    It's no big deal.

    I just wonder who deleted it and why...

    I mean, I did a Mardi Gras post last week with what I considered incredible photos from this year's festival and all it got was crickets.

    Don't respond...fine.

    But delete?

    A lot of black runaway slaves found refuge among Native American tribes and within the past 40 years Mardi Gras Indians have become a primary component of Mardi Gras at large.

    They roam through neighborhoods in packs looking to confront rival tribes for various contests of oneupmanship.

    I see no reason for the previous thread to have been deleted, but I really wish it had contained more information on Mardi Gras. I've never been to a Mardi Gras celebration, as I saw it as either a Creole thing (I'm Cajun) or a drunken fratboy fest. I suppose it's a bit of both.

    Having said that, I'd love it if you changed the title of this thread and dropped some Mardi Gras knowledge jewels on us.
