Nas, Kanye, Rakim & Krs: "Classic (Nike Remix)"

  Comments

  • some say rick rubin produced it?? if so, it's definately primo-esque(sp?)

  • this is a primo-produced remix. there's also a rick rubin produced original version (much slower) as well as a kanye version with lots of piano that i dont think was finished.

  • That Carl Douglas sample is dope, and I flipped it for a remix of the best named artist I'v ever heard of. "Ghetto Hippie"

Shit, that must have been in 98

    I'll never forget this name.

Does anyone got a link to the original Rick Rubin production ???

    Peace

I used it too around the same time for a Masta Ace song for my friend's label which went under soon after and I don't think it ever came out. Too bad cause it was pretty good and Ace killed it.
Also used the chord progession part of the sample that Primo didn't though.

  • DJ Day should have hollared at Nas, his use of that sample for Hope was so much better...
