less than a mile from our house today.At least three police stations in our area were looted and then burned down.The mansion of one of the presidents wifes got looted and wrecked as well.The whole coutry is in uproar. Houses of corrupted government officials go up in flames everywhere.Early in the morning, the president tried to leave town but was attacked by students throwing rocks, his windshield got busted and he had to change cars in the middle of the road. Before they turned around and fled, his guards shot and killed at least two students and wounded several more. But for the most part, Police and Military refuse to open fire onto their own people (unlike on Jan. 22nd).We might get evacuated to Freetown by speedboat but I hope it won't be necessary.Peace!Frank

    Foreigners are not targeted (except the one or other Lebanese businesses)
    It is kinda creepy though, I have to admitt.
    Well as long as we stay inside our house and garden I guess we'll be alright.
    Thankfuly we just received a large order of cuban rhum...
