I'd heard good things about Donny Hathaway Live, and when i got it, my face was well and truly melted by the Willie Weeks bass solo on the last track: I noticed, though, that part of this solo is identical to part of the cool bass break in "Shu ba ba du ma ma ma ma" by Steve Mller. Does anyone know if Weeks plays on the Joker album aswell (and was therefore re-cycling his OWN stuff), or has it just been straight ripped off?

    I understand he's in Nashville now, and that's probably his bass you hear on all the country records coming from that area.
