Computer. Static. HELP

Anybody ever deal with a scenario such as this?Last week I receive a static shock from my USB mouse, which loses power. I restart my computer and windows will not even boot. I unplug all my USB devices except the mouse, and Windows starts up--the mouse works for about 20 minutes before I get an error message that a USB device has malfunctioned. I try plugging it into other ports to no luck. I get the wireless mouse from my studio and still no luck, no power. I get the homie's old microsoft mouse, no red lights or anything. At this point I'm thinking the USB is fried on my motherboard.I replace the motherboard. Magic. Everything works fine for a week. Then yesterday as I'm chopping up this Battered Ornaments shit, the mouse fails again. My trigger finger still seems to work fine. I replace my power supply, and it didn't change a thing.February is a very static-filled month. I get shocked by everything. Even shit I'm normally jaded about. Anybody go through anything like this? Help? Microsoft.com sucks.
