What's the Deal? I feel compelled to write a little note to this movie and every movie like it:
Dear Every Character in "Sophisticated" Urban Indie Comedies: Shut your cake-holes with all the whining and fakey intellectual dialogue. You are not as smart or awesome as anyone in The 40-Year-Old Virgin. You are the enemies of entertainment. Die before the closing credits, please. Dave
That movie looks like garbage, but it has Gretchen Mol, who is the bim-badda-badda-boom ... I was already into her when she was cast as Bettie Page, so you know I did a backflip when I first got that news - in fact, the Notorious Bettie Page DVD is my #1 most recommended DVD of the decade, for people who like women.

Honestly, as a film, it's only OK - not bad
at all, but just kind of unremarkable. But the
cheesecake factor is off the chain.
The DVD has some nice extras, including an
OG full-color Bettie movie.
Doesn't sound like it will go over well on SoulStrut, in that case...
