This shit is too funny. And for the record I am not knocking dudes hustle I just find the grade school quality journalism really funny. http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/story?id=2836404&page=1&CMP=OTC-RSSFeeds0312

  • But he has that thing that girls are drawn to ??? he's good with his hands. It takes coordination to scratch with one hand and have the other hand on the crossfader. It's like watching a guitarist. (If you're a guy, ask one of your girl friends. They can explain it.)

DJ AM is a top DJ who never would have been famous without Nicole, but being a top DJ gives him indie street cred.

it annoys the fuck out of me when they call him "DJ."

"Back to DJ's love life. No matter how you slice it, whether or not you find him as good of a catch as Mandy Moore seems to, everyone interviewed seemed to have the same opinion that DJ's fame came quickly, and could disappear just as quickly without the right press ??? whether it comes from having a famous girlfriend or not.

So it didn't work out for her and Vince?

It's all about the hands and the magical hand-eye coordination, ask any female. Get on AM's level!

Plus I love how the article calls him "DJ" as if that's his first name.

Man, I didn't know he was in CrazyTown. Make her legs shake/Make me go crazy!

the whole article is a joke. comparing AM to kevin federline is ridiculous. the dude is niiice. if he wasn't, you'd see a dozen articles with quotes from other djs blasting him as being mediocre. that is not gonna happen. anyone who has seen him live should agree that his sets are pretty much

I've heard others speak highly of him. Haters will hate but it's nice to see a DJ getting paid if he's talented, hard working and smart.

That shit is funny. The whole thing is sort of an "ohmygod, DJs are such the hot accessory right now!" ramble. Which is amusing, but I do think it's a missed opportunity to further explore the daisy chain of fame.

I remember seeing a clip from The Surreal Life, and one of the girls referred to Hammer as "MC."

i thought this thread was going to have tips on how to bang a pornstar..i was wrong.

  • We know why Mandy Moore is famous. She's cute as a button, and talented to boot.

And let's face it- Mandy Moore definitely needs to add a little edge to her bubble gum persona." Ah, mutual use-ification.

  • ABC is the new standard of journalism.

Man, that article is crap. They managed to say dude is ugly and his only claim to fame is riding coattails.

    I would be pissed.

I wonder if it was ghost written by his ex-girlfriend.

Adam is a great dj, paid his dues and a nice person. Too bad the media doesn't want to give credit to a dj because that is the bottom line. They think it's just playing music like the rest of the world thinks. So they couldn't give a shit at the end of the day. My thing is this, if you live and dj in Hollywood or even NYC for that matter. Your going know some celebrities. That is where they live and party. So they are bound to come to your events if your a high profile working dj. If your on the radio even better they will end up listening to you. So say your in LA damn near most of the stars are probably listening to you if your on the radio. So they are going to KNOW you b4 you would know them, feel me? So it would be ez to meet them at any party your playing or might even be at and if you have any GAME at all you can do your thing. That's how I see it. So maybe I should move to LA and get a radio show and hope that Halle Berry is listening! Lmao.........Then get with her, and start charging $30K a gig. Yee! All I have is porn chicks coming to my parties.

  • this could be you (minus being ugly) if you go DJ for Mickey Avalon! next thing you know, everyone is talking about how they're down with DJ Day and once knew him from Soul Strut.

  • you know you like to tuck and dance in front of the mirror listening to crazytown's "butterfly"

come my lady, come come my lady...

one of our DJ jokes when that record came out was putting it in each other's crates during a gig.
