so say i wanted to email a snippet to someone or post here to share, what's good?i downloaded easy cd-da extractor, but am unsure how to trim files on snippets/transfer to email. any love out there?

    audacity is a good free program for macs.

    I believe CDex (PC only) will allow you to extract portions of a track on CD to MP3, and its free.

    thanks mang, can i email or post these to a yousendit type site w/ CDex? as you can prolly tell, im not that 'puter savvy.

    No, it won't post it for you. You'll have to do that through the Yousendit site.
