    my favortie Stanley Turn-it-down LP is "Rough and Tumble" on Blue Note..dont really feel his funk steez.

    My fave Turrentine record is 'Look Out'. I didn't know that he played in Lowell Fulson's band with Ray Charles or that he was the dude who replaced Coltrane in Earl Bostic's band. Crazy.
