Does anybody know the origin of "Good Music For Good People"? I understand that Alan Freed was the first to popularise the line, but I could be wrong.

    For a man who popularized rock & roll as we are likely to know it, it would be odd for him to say something like "Good Music For Good People" - sounds just a little too easy listening.
