Call it an announcement if you must, but Numero is officially doing an overview of Freeport, Bahamas GBI and Penn labels. We just returned from an extremely fruitful trip where we turned up a lot of amazing and unknown Bahamian soul, funk, calypso, and varous indiginous hybrids, but returned home with a serious hole in the catalog. The tapes for all of these recordings were lost in a hurricane, forcing us to master from disc, which is where you come in. We are in serious need of a copy of Willpower "My Love Is The One / People Won't Change" 45. We will buy, trade, or even rent it from you. Please PM if you've got one, know someone who has one, or even know someone who might have one. If Kevin Laverty is your recommendation, keep moving. Thanks.
