scratch intro and 'rockit' - not the S.N.L.'84 clip.

was this a Laswellian concept? or did d.s.t. use fx before working with him?bill haters step up..

    The echos is not suprising to me. All the Blockparty DJs hat reverbs when they spinned in the 70s and from reverb to echo is such a small step. So I dont think that D.S.T. got the echo idea from Laswel.

    But what realy is suprising is the filter on the scratch. It is a wah wah effect but I dont kow if its a wah pedal or a auto wah.

    Thats suprising beacuse most DJs world wide started to uses a wah wah pedal on their mixers when Q-Bert did that around 95.

    This is ten years earlier, rela impressive.

    definitely a pedal. you can tell because of the precision of the opening and closing of the filter sweep towards the end - he's hitting it on the 4.
