in the ride
Picked this up at the Tower sale.
The Instrumental 3 / Purple Grapes blend is on fire, as is the UNKLE megamix. I got a copy if you need
sooo dreamy.
Masters of Ceremony - Dynamite
not rilly feelin' it.
but been enjoying this in the ride...
K-Otix - Universal
these got some spins too...
Bumpy Knuckles - Industry Shakedown
J-Rocc - Walkman Rotation (finally)
CLASSIC Conception Records material right there son. Seattle what! Early production by Supreme (Dee Rock), Jake One and the hommie MoSS. "World Premier" and "My Position" are the joints.
the 4 Seasons sing Dylan & Bachrach, from 1966:
Now, I have pretty much always HATED the Four Seasons,
those falsetto choruses on their big hits like "Sherry"
& "Rag Doll" did and do make me cringe - but this record
actually has some interesting stuff going on with the Dylan
covers, esp. "Queen Jane Approximately" and to a certain
extent "Like a Rolling Stone" ... pretty rockin' yet with
a certain stage-show gloss that somehow works. The
Bacharach/David side I can take, cause some of those songs
I always like no matter who sings them, "Anyone Who Had a Heart,"
"Walk On By," etc... and the super-high-pitched choruses
don't seem to be turning up much at all.
the best Psychedelic Homosexual Christian Alt-Country LP EVAR!
Common- Resurrection (for the first time)
and a few records i bought for boxing day
like Creation - S/T
Yuichi!? What planet do I send your late pass to? LOL. GREAT album with SUPER DOPE production by NO I.D. I still listen to this album often. This is back when a hip-hop album would be good all the way through as opposed to nowdays where most rap records just have a few decent singles.

CHANGE YOUR MESS, GIMME SOME WET.
Haha. I know, I know. Matter of fact, if I didn't pick it up for my bro, maybe I woulda never listened to it.
Angie Reed, Daft Punk and The Knife.
Might finish the evening off with some Eastern Conference All Stars (the first CD).
Eclectic is good.

Right now, I'm listening to:
"How to Mend a Broken Heart"-Al Green.
I'm a little down right now (emotionally-disturbed family matriarch-related). I may post about the issue for insight from my 'Strut brethren. I always wonder why family can be so hurtful. It's interesting how dysfunctional mother-son relationships have been present in the backgrounds of serial killers.
Peace,
Big Stacks from Kakalak
Trippy, this is what I'm listening to right now.
scott van pelt just asked me "what's good?"
someone nix this dude.
This album cover looks very...
.....
Chris Hinze - Stoned Flute
black Sabbath - Black Sabbath
Tower had a good run of those Hi reissues - I picked up the same CD during Tower's final days.
