Sorry if this is posted elsewhere, it just pop it in my head this is probably a great place to ask this, what are the most soulful and/or funkiest x-mas cuts? I'd like to load a set in my ipod to play while at the parents house and while driving around on the weekend and the such. I already loaded up the hip hop x-mas treats. Any ideas? mp3s accepted

Speaks for itself.
unfortunately, I don't have this as mp3 here, I might be able to post by tomorrow if all goes according to plan.
excruciating as that was, the staff pretty much stuck to classical renditions and this album:
low
to this day, this is probably the only xmas album i would ever buy.
the binky 45 is pretty good though.
if you like that you may want to look into the Bright Eyes Christmas album.
Very traditional (no original compositions)
a lot of songs are given a nice lo-fi treatment and others are so elequently performed that its just plain smile-inducing
whats the x-mas record on seven b? isaac clarke or somethin? i'll have to dig it up, but i dont have an mp3, sorry, maybe someone else does.
thanx alot! I definitely appreciate it. I'm going to be up way past my "bedtime"...
