I have this jpg logo that my boy sent me so I can use it on a flyer. How do I take out the white background in photoshop so that all thats left is the actual logo? When I try to drop the logo into the flyer it drops the white background into it also..

I think you need you use the transparent "color". Look for the boxy looking color... should be sorta grey.

once you're rid of the background, save it as a gif

use the background erase tool, which you get to by right clicking the eraser it should turn the white transparent

png's also hold transparency.
