What are some tweaks you make to your pc to get the most effeinciey out of it with Microwave or daw's? I go into the system panel and in advanced i change the performance settings. I also go into msconfig and edit the start menu and turn off all the TSR programs.I dont have any images for the backround on my desktopi dont use a screensaveranymore mods that i can do to get more speed out of my pc?

I use a mac, and make sure to install as little junk as possible. That's how I optimize my stuff. Also, never get an major upgrade to a product until it's seen a few small updates to improve stability.

Oh, and turn off all the startup items in XP.

a recording/microwave computer will not need anti-virus because you should not have it connected to the internet

aye. i dont use it for online use, only for critical updates and some file transfer between computers throughout the house.
