Hey Folks (from the Career Advice Thread and others),My tenure vote today, for promotion from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor, was positive unanimously as follows:-23 in favor-0 against-1 abstained (the department chair who presents the case does not vote).I toasted champagne and celebrated with colleagues, but now T**i and I are going out to have some dinner and "drank" for real.     Hey- first of all... CONGRATS!!!!

    second of all, I started reading what you sent me and actually enjoyed it (meaning it wasn't flying way over my head!!! yay! I'm kinda smart!).



    Third - Getting your DRANK on is always Dizzy Bull approved. Champagne is cool and all, but have you tried Jameson's whiskey? If you are a whiskey person you NEED to try it out. Dizzy Bull approved.

    Thanks for all the love!!!! Yeah, I'm fucked up right now. I threw back a few Grand Marniers to chase the champagne. Class is gonna be LOOOOOOOOONG tomorrow. But fuck it, I'm happy as hell. Now, it's onward and upward to Full Professor. Good looks, peoples!!!!
