b,121b,121Its the "drums" of NJS that interfere w/any boogie/modern comparisons IMO... not trying to say there isn't R&B of the late 80s that still carries on the traditions of earlier years, but NJS is often jarring compared to what was going on a few years before due to unfortunate trends in digital percussion... at the same time those beats did work well for slow jams however...
