Just copped these:(Epicure 5-series)and this:(H/K 730)and a H/K 230e which I couldn't find a picture of. What kind of vintage shit are you rocking at home?
My whole setup is "vintage" but unintentionally so. Sony direct drive turntable from the 70's Gemini mixer from the mid 80's I really need to update my ish.
I've got this model Kenwood amp. Before that I was using an early 70's Harmon Kardon that my parents purchased new before I was born. It finally crapped out in 2003. They made these shits to last.

denon dp-3000 direct drive turntable (late 70s):
oracle alexandria mkII turntable (mid 80s):
vandersteen 2ce speakers (late 80s):
akai as-1080 quadraphonic receiver (late 70s):
budget quadraphonic headphones (mid 70s)
my amp isn't vintage but i roll a lot of vintage tubes through the preamp section: right now i'm really into these nos 60s french military tubes i got off ebay. shit sounds unbelievable.
anyone else around here mess with quadraphonic stuff?
that era of b&o stereos are really beautiful, but beware when buying used as they don't age so well. i've got a beomaster 1900. functions more as a nice looking sculpture in the living room since one of the transformers crapped out and various lights are on the fritz AFTER being repaired. nonetheless, they're nice to have around. they look better than they sound anyway. also bear in mind when buying that you need special adaptors for the speaker and component taps.
