Where can I put up a Blog?

I just spent hours trying to get some shit uploadad onto Blogger.com and this shit ain't slow, it's plain retarded. Is there any site out there that offers some sort of Blog service, perhaps even lets you upload mp3s?I'm already crippled by superslow and unreliable internet connection down here but this goddamnn blogger.com bullshit damn near got me to throw this fucked up pieceofshit dell computer at the wall of this stinkin internetcafe goddamnit!

    cosign on the wordpress. Use an outside host / file uploading service for your mpfrees.

    I think that might be what we're doing too... hosting the audio and linking to it... Anyhow, yeah, wordpress is easy to use. If I can do it, anyone can.

    Blogger is a mess of technical issues. Wordpress is not only more consistently "up", but is also a much more intuitive/user friendly and useful interface.

    I know it's lazy to not go read their FAQ's and such, but with Wordpress, would I be able to host my blog with my own domain name, or a subdomain possibly? That would be ideal.

    i like how you can categorize things on wordpress and the layouts are much more nice, but customizing style sheets is so much more confusing to me.

    yeah you can. it's confusing to install though but wordpress offers a service where they do it for you for free
