Pension or Pimp?

I always thought it was:???She went to the city and got so so grittyShe had to get a pimp, she couldn???t make it on her own???Until we listened to the poem today in Poetry & Performance class, and the lyrics were transcribed as:???She went to the city and got social securityShe had to get a pension, she couldn???t make it on her own???And now I can???t decide, eventhough I have no idea where she would get a pension from. So maybe it???s actually:???She went to the city and got social security She had to get a pimp, she couldn't make it on her own???Eventhough this doesn???t make to much sense to me either.And then there???s the shoddy #1 google search result version:???She went to the city and got so so so dittyShe had to get a pimp, she couldnt make it on her own???Aggh.Which one is it?
