Make it Funky is presenting the Canadian debut of European Producer/DJ Malente, the first dates of his North American Tour! Continuing the positive vibe that's experienced at Make It Funky events, Malente, an internationally acclaimed producer, will bring his move it or lose it style to rock Guelph! His uncompromising manner to fuse funk-infected breakbeats with irresistible party grooves is highly popular to say the least considering the long list of remixes he has done for amongst others All Good Funk Alliance, Dr. Rubberfunk, Der Plan, DJ Friction, The Strike Boys, Thomilla, Bob Sinclair, Frank Popp Ensemble, Rocko Schamoni, Le Hammond Inferno as well as uncountable DJ gigs he has done worldwide. Solely in 2005, he travelled the USA, Canada, Australia, Thailand, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Russia, Greece and other countries. When Malente last passed through Canada he rocked the Shambhala festival in BC and when he is playing one of his outstanding DJ-sets, a tight party is to be expected.
