The title 'Chrome Children' was the brainchild of Elvis Jewell-Cohen (Venice, CA) as part of our 'Name The Project Contest' which received over 10,000 submissions and William Haupt (Columbus, OH) was the lucky winner of our pre-order contest to be animated by Adult Swim in the upcoming Madlib video (1 of 3 animated music videos Adult Swim has created: Madvillain, J.Dilla, & Madlib). The Skinny: Peanut Butter Wolf assembles a historic album featuring brand new & exclusive material from Stones Throw All-Stars including Madlib, Madvillain, J. Dilla, as well as the debut of new signings Guilty Simpson & J Rocc + much more including a DVD featuring 40+ minutes of live performances headlined by Madvillain + exclusive interviews w/ Madlib & PB Wolf. Following up on the successful release of Danger Doom: The Mouse and the Mask (Soundscan 140,000) in October 2005, Adult Swim (Cartoon Network & Turner Broadcasting???s popular late night animation network) decided to collaborate on a second hip hop album, this time with the acclaimed indie-label Stones Throw Records founded by Peanut Butter Wolf.
