concerning hans dulfer lps ... are they good ? and which one is the best ? candy clouds or morning after the third ? .... or maybe el saxofon (but the cover is so horrible) ?
don't know. he's dutch. never seen any good record by him.
the telefunken copy is a second pressing with less songs than the uk pressing.
oh, by the way, i don't really like their music. i can't even remember what it was like, but i remember not liking it too much. tell me about it. should i give it another listen?

I don't like their stuff neither. As a matter of fact, I'm trying to sell or trade it.
1. Has anyone ever actually seen a legit pressing of the Faust BBC session or is the Clear wax bootleg from the early 80's (of which I have 1/300) the only pressing.
2. Do you know if any of the other Amanya releases (or which I have never seen any besides Ex Ovo Pro - Spazvocal and Ken Rhodes - Profiles) actually made it to the light? I heard that the Amanya label and studio were in the same building, and that when it burned, so did all the records...

not me.

the former owner still sells original amayana records. check his website. i like the Sinto LP (i got it for free) and the Ex Ovo Pro - Spa??v??gel best. Ken Rhodes is cool too. But all the other releaes are crap. I wouldn't tap. I also dislike Jonathan on Aar (Amayana sub). I wouldn't buy any Amayana release at the moment. Only or reselling. I'll keep my Ex Ovo Pro copy. The other ones have been sold. I don't miss those records.
3. Whats good in obscure Krautrock these days?
You mean current Kraut groups? I have no idea. German Rock bands suck!
Hey Grope, I am trying to get extras of one German records that I have that I need how rare and exp. it is. Any help would appreciated!
1. Dream Away Underscores Anesis LP on Intersound
amir
i've only ever seen one copy for around 30 euros. is it good? i didn't buy it!
the intersound label is difficult. some records are still unknown. a funk collector visited me this week and brought a very funk record on intersound that i could listen to. nobody seems to know it. he has several copies and found each of them for cheap (probably around 5 euros). it was good music and i bet some people would pay a lot for that record. i asked him how rare it was, but he couldn't say. both of us have no idea how many copies were pressed. the intersound label is obscure. looks like a library label, but it was sold like any other records. some intersounds are tough to find, others are being sold for cheap all over the place.
since i don't know anesis myself, i can't help you. i'll ask that local collector for you. he might know more about it, but some intersound records are still totally unknown.
PS: i just found several copies online. 10 euros to 120 USD.
"jacket: slight wear/ It's a popular LP that's including gems such as medium funky number "FUNKY THAHOUSE"(A-2) , warm sax number "TOUCANS" (A-3), killer loop "THOUS AND AND ONE LOVE"(B-5) etc!!"
Yeah this record is dope..real dope!! I roughed it up a bit over the years and I haven't been able to find another copy. I NEED another copy cause this shit is dope! I would to have that other record that were mentioning on Intersound that is funky. Do u mind passing my info to homeboy?
On a RR note, one of my friends just found the Staff Carpenborg record. He wants to sell it for the ~100??? market price, and I was almost tempted, but I just can't do it, knowing that upskiboo found his a while ago for ~1??? at some flea market. I keep telling myself "it's an EZ-cheezy looking record on Maritim - don't worry, you'll find it for cheap one day tucked in between Wunderlich and Last". I probably won't, but hey I'm stubborn (and broke) like that.

sure! he's not a really seller, but i'm trading records with him a lot. i can't remember the bands name right now (philly sound was the title), but i'll ask. it might take a while. he doesn't check his emails regularly. i'll keep you updated via PM!

it is tough to find. finding it for 1 Euro is big luck. I got mine in a trade. but 100 sound OK. i know a dealer that sold copies for way over 300 euros to japanese collectors. the record is really well known amongst colletors. really hard to find.

They are all quite good, but dutch, not german.
"Candy clouds" is probably the best, but "morning after the third" is quite good as well. "El saxophon" is probably the weirdest. Has the cream of european free jazz players on it. Sounds kind of like ray barretto crossed with dulfer on quaaludes.
Wait a minute does the cover have a pic of woman's chest and philly sound in written in red? If so, I already have that LP. I need Anesis LP tho!! amir
4. The second LP (the first official one) featured a different guitarist. He really changed the sound. German Kraut collectors and guitar specialists think the first guitarist sucked. I guess they just split up afterwards. It isn't the only Kraut band with only one good album. I have no idea why some bands changed their style so dramatically. But anyway, I don't really think Jeronimo is worth the money.
yeah I want to know this too. The homie and felow soustrutter Pcaman found a copy in a Phx thriftshop
Grope: how many good releases did the ORF big band have? were they only known to be funky during the time Art Farmer was performing with them?
It has two REALLY good tracks on it...and it's very hard to find. Only seen it once "in the field". Released in Sweden, btw.
Man, I have NO clue how that record ended up out here. I was just wondering if it was really limited to 200 copies and if there were any cool stories behind it.

Are there any records period that were released like that? It's strange that a raer Swedish record popped up in an American thrift (in Arizona, no less). Thanks for posting those mp3's!

doodoo
mostly about 30 seconds of 1 song. i don't like their sound at all. i never bought their records, although i've seen them for around 10-15 euros.

Snail moustache, rimmed glasses and a nasty comb-over. The pederast uncle look.
2. Why did you curse my country with that schlager shit for decades? Unforgivable. We'll never get rid of that crap now.

Haha, no sweat Grope, I'm just kidding.

sehr gutes joint!
Das Z??ndet on Amiga. Nice one. I like it!
Were there really only 200 copies of Stardust International and Tayfun? Any background info on the group?
2. If so, why was it withdrawn? I've always wondered...
3. How many copies were pressed?
4. How come they never did anything else nearly as good? It's a damn shame...
yeah I want to know this too. The homie and felow soustrutter Pcaman found a copy in a Phx thriftshop

What's the real deal ?
1. I guess just a micro press. Withdrawn? Why? I don't think so.
2. Bellaphon was still a bigger label. I guess there are more copies than people think.
3. Don't know. Did you see http://www.jeronimo-music.de/ yet? Maybe they know.

what's the deal with Gustav Brom? I already have "Polymelomodus" & "...Plays For You Pop, Jazz & Swing". Which other LPs would you recommend?
Ahh and don't forget to call me this month!
