Question about Toronto spots

I have a show Oct. 1 at El Mocambo in Toronto, this is my first time in Toronto and I would like to do some digging befor my show. I'm not sure how much time I will have to spend so I would like to pick a spot close by. Some searches of past posts here and some mapquest lead me to 2 spots close to the venue... Slinky Music and Lost and Found. Which of the 2 hould I hit p if I only have time for one, and does anyone know what time they close and even if they are open on Sundays????Good cheap spots o eat in the area would be appreciated also... And if anyone is planning on coming out to the show, I have some trades with me as well.Thanks in advance.Roger
