I think in the rule book, fishing a copy of Edwards Generation out of a wardrobe stuffed with records trapped behind two sets of house speakers, some gardening equipment, and a couple CD racks constitutes a real "find".

Private collections I'm not so sure of.

I drove several hours, spent most of the day with nothing but coffee for sustinance, was covered in grit from head to toe, and paid well below "fair market value".

Ref, can I get a ruling?

    No...

Just Jamaicans, vintage calypso, and Macintosh preamps.

Anything good in the CD racks?

    I don't like calypso, am I wrong?

listened to a calypso thing on Randys the other day called 'soul pipe', it made me think of that whole 'k in canada' debacle...

there were boxes upon boxes of CDs. I didn't even look.

The racks being referred to here were actually empty...

I didn't find a single rap record in the whole place though so I doubt that the CDs were any different.

I think even yr boy "G" would have to rule: FOUND.

  • One last minute find before I head down under:

The Rockets - S/T (White Whale)

This is Crazy Horse (with Danny Whitten) before they hooked up with Neil Young. Sloppy, druggy and partly fuzzy.

    mmmm, well, maybe. But the
    + approx. 60 others
part destroyed your whole phinds post credibility. I mean, too vague. It's like "I spent $800 at the thriftstore".

I've never seen the record game in this state of disbelief.

  • Wow, can I live? lol.

I bought approx. 100 records, not all of them were super rare or desirable, so I didn't flick them all. It wasn't a thrift, it was a private collection.

And Raj - it was in your neck of the woods!

  • Can I get a prize czech on the Ken Boothe?

  • Is that Luther LP a tough one? I found 3 sealed copies of that locally recently.

Also does anybody have an update on K in Canada? Curious about that.

  • Which Luther LP?

    Your PM box is full.

Yes. Newborn babies have a young entrepenurial (sp?) digger on house arrest.

Where in Pee, Eh were you?

  • I came up on a minty fresh copy of "SPEEDING TICKET" by the San Francisco Highway Patrol. w/ bonus b-side of "expried tags" and the hit "w/o proof of insurance"
