Microwave/Final Scratch question...

Has anyone here ever tried to hook up a Final Scratch interface/hardware to a laptop with Microwave software installed to see if it works?They are, after all pretty much the same thing.The hardware that is.

    I recently had a gig furnished unexpectedly with a rane 57 and my regular Microwave laptop software didn't recognize it...had to hook up my own box after all. I dunno about the FS hardware being compatible but I kind of doubt it would work.

    Final Scratch is like the ghetto version of Microwave. plus they came first! i think it's some stable compatible shit.
