It is with great pleasure that I present to you one of my most prized finds, The Grant Union High School Improvizational Ensemble - A Bicentennial Message To You. I've found very little information on it since I've had it, can't google this one kids! I played it for Jinx74 and he identified the band leader, Ike Paggett, as having been involved with several other Sacramento records of note. Perhaps he can provide us with more info on the man?The whole thing is pretty facemelting, but I particularly enjoy the synth heavy (what were these kids ON?) rendition of "Ain't No Sunshine," the medley featuring two original Paggett compositions with "Maiden Voyage" sandwiched in between, and the original Paggett joint entitled "Maisha."@ 320: Grant Union High School Improvizational Ensemble - A Bicentennial Message To You
