This has to be my favorite word from the Bush lexicon. I bet the staffer who thought it up got a gold star that day.
I like it so much, it's starting to make me physically ill when I hear it. So I guess it's doing its job. But yeah, it's like the perfect political word--so ungrounded it is rendered almost completely meaningless, yet it's vaguely threatening and scary, and surely only somebody who could concoct such a word will be able to save us from...whatever the fuck it refers to!
