has anyone else had the chance to see this film yet? i'm not sure how wide of a release it has, but i thought it was most excellent. screenplay and music by nick cave. an epic, western-style picture set in colonial australia. not for the faint of heart, but highly recommended.

    Yes. I took a gamble on a blind buy with the UK DVD and enjoyed it a lot. Pretty damn good movie. It's a shame it didn't get a wider release in the theatre, especially since it's in English

    agreed - my fave film of 2006 so far...but the Toronto Film Fest starts this week, so we'll see how it fares.

    definitely one of the best movies of the year and in the complete opposite end of the spectrum so is little miss sunshine!
