    You have be a max of 28 years old when you audition... I imagine he was 28 when he auditioned and turned 29 between the time he auditioned and when the show started airing in January. There's like 5 months between the two. Besides, they've routinely identified him as 29 years old on the show so it's not like they've tried to hide some secret or something.
