Agents Of Change http://cdbaby.com/cd/halgalper10acoustic piano, bass, drums trio - not the funky stuff he did in the dayin fact, time, itself, is free, BUT HARMONY IS NOT! - they're playing preconceived changes in what Hal calls, "rubato style." the bass player, Tony Marino, and the drummer Billy Mintz are new to Hal, and very different from his previous rhythm sections.it's a shame the CDBaby clips are so short - each song has a real beginning, middle, and end... anyway, i just really like it a lot, and want others to hear it... so here's "E.S.P" based on Wayne Shorter's 60s composition:http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=DFAABF1526F6DEE6(if you have to nod your head, you won't like it.)
