Pioneer EFX500 vs EFX1000?

Is the 1000 worth the price difference? The only big differences I can see is the "rhythm mode" (which seems cool but I'm not really sure I would really need), the higher sound quality (is the 500 sound quality bad?), and some additional effects? Any of ya'll use both?

Havent used the 1000, but am perfectly happy with the 500...

Sound quality is great (IMO)...
