How is e-40 taking away from hyphy. I mean I guess if everybody in the "movement" wants success on their "own terms," good luck. but, as far as I can see he's doing nothing but good things by being out there. so, yeah, I don't understand the complaint

whose music/culture is hyphy really though? shit started in oakland as far as i know but the streets made it. rick rock said that hyphy existed before any of his involvement but he just made music that he thought went with what was going on. all of the artists on the hyphy inc. webpage have done songs with 40, so i don't know. it would be great to get a bay area mufuckah's perspective on this though.
