what was the name of the club in long beach that the young DR. Dre and the Egyptian lover would DJ at in the early 80's with the west coast electro most important who is still pop lockin'?

    Technically, there's no such thing as 'pop lockin'. There's 'popping' and there's 'locking', and each is a distinct form of dance. Putting them together looks pretty ridiculous.

    I've got a few friends who still pop. They're all Asian, and it gets them hella girls (or at least it did in college).

    so I have never heard any mixes from dre and the lover man. Were they dope? Id fucking love to hear/own some. I love that scene/time period/genre. Anyone have some?
